  • Piano roll

The primary way to work on your compositions. Use on-canvas UI to "draw" (with the Quill tool) and shape notes; group them or split them into sections to help you manage complex pieces.

  • Interpretations

On top of notated values, create different ways to play the same notes with different speed, instrumentation, timing and ornamentation.

  • Ornamentation

For early music especially, ornamentation is an important part of composition. Create ornamentations per interpretation, with smart editors to help you sculpt the perfect trills.

  • Theming

Create multiple themes, style each part differently and colour them differently to complement the music's mood.

  • Patterns

Reuse a phrase and apply context-appropriate overrides, such as moving a repeated phrase up a step in its given harmonic context.

  • Tempo fine-tuning

In the tempo lane, add control nodes and segments to shape time.

  • Instruments

A synthesiser with many presets such as chiptunes and FM piano, with a selected range of sampled instruments. More to come.

  • Tuning

Set your preferred tuning for your music, which is useful when you are creating music from certain historical periods such as Baroque music.

  • Audio effects

Apply audio effects such as reverb, tape and EQ to your music.

  • Scores

Convert notes you drew with the piano roll into scores. View them alongside the piano roll or create printed editions with automatically managed layout.

  • Visualisers

Create dynamic 3D animations of your music with depth and export them for sharing. Include visual effects to make it look even better.

  • Multiple viewfinders

Isolate parts in different viewfinders to help you compose more efficiently.

  • Annotation

Add text notes or vector shapes to annotate your music.

  • Export

Export your music as audio files, video animations (through the visualisers) or MIDI files, or render them as visuals of piano rolls.

  • MIDI support

Connect your MIDI keyboards to play along or record. You can also import MIDI files, or send the playback to MIDI channels to play them in other software such as Kontakt, or on your physical MIDI devices.

  • Collections

Collect pieces into collections or albums to listen to or export as a complete set. (Coming soon)

  • Share your work

Share your work as it was last saved as read-only links that play in the browser.

  • Keep data on your computer

Using a Chromium browser, you can keep your work in a folder on your computer, which can also be easily accessed and edited by any of your coding agents.

  • Multiplayer

Collaborate with others and see what they are working on, also helps when working on the same composition from different devices.

  • AI

If it is your style, plug in an Anthropic or OpenRouter API key and chat with the robot to help you work on and manage your compositions.
